Oh Hi!

I am so glad you came by to see my work, and thank you for your interest. Here’s a little about me, since, well, that’s what you visit an ‘About’ page for, right?

As the daughter of two creative parents, I tapped into my love for making things at a very young age. Being introduced to oil paints, pastels, watercolors, ceramics, beading, sewing and drawing by my mother was something I was very fortunate to experience. I was able to get my hands dirty early on, learning methods and techniques that are taught in a professional setting. Woodworking in the basement as a young child afforded me an opportunity most kids don’t have at such a young age - access to tools (yes, sharp things) and plenty of wood scraps and sand paper. My father taught me all about the different species of wood, and the tools that make the magic happen. Their knowledge and encouragement all these years is something I am very grateful for, and it has molded me into the human I am today.

My work is a number of things to me, but most importantly it is an outlet for my creative expression. I am constantly making, trying new things, and honing skills and ideas. I stay busy in my studio, crafting the things you see, in hopes to share with you what my parents shared with me. (oops, that rhymed)

I hope you enjoy what I’ve made.
